I am a humanistic counsellor, meaning my role is to help you find your own way forward rather than directing you. Humanistic Counselling is rooted in a respect for the uniqueness of the human experience, focusing on empowering people to make their own choices and take charge of their lives.
At the heart of my work is a person-centred approach that views you as a whole, not broken or needing to be fixed. We are all shaped by our experiences and the ways we learned to survive in the world. My focus is on helping you integrate all the parts that make you who you are, no longer feeling that some of the pieces don't fit or belong. As we look at each piece with curiosity instead of judgement, a new understanding is reached; one which deepens self-awareness. This is the fertile soil in which growth can occur.
